Christmas morning 2008
someone is excited
Hello Rounsevilles
Never done this blog thing so I'm just trying it out.  Hope I have got it right.  It is becoming more and more debilitating to be computer illiterate these days - must get on board!
Hope all are well.  We are doing good over here.  Enjoying a very relaxing Sunday afternoon at home with family.  Not quite as anaesthetized as 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon in Kingman though.  I am reading all about the inauguration of Obama in the London Times.  I have to say we are all very excited over here about our new president.  Let's hope he is up to the momentous task ahead of him. It's all very doom and gloom over here in England and I'm not just talking about the weather.  So far things are going well for us but it is a little scary!  I have decided to embrace this new era of austerity with gusto though.  I have decided to get as exited about saving money as I used to be about spending it.  It has taken a little adjustment but I think I'm getting the hang of it!
I hope everyone 'stateside' (that's Jessica's nickname for her mother!) is doing well.  I am now going to try and posts this along with some photos.  Hope it works!

Hey Rosie, I just read your comment on our blog. I have found, since having kids, I understand Grandma a little better. I remember once when my mom was going to leave all us kids with Grandma for a couple of days and the night before my mom left, Grandma stayed up until 6AM playing Eight Off on that old computer on the kitchen sea of mail, er..counter. I do the same thing when facing a stressful task the next day- stay up so late doing something trivial because it's MY time to do what I want. Grandma R has certainly left her imprint on all of us. =)

And, wow, Matthew and Jessica are completely grown up.
